Executive and Management Education
The lynch pin of business change is ensuring that the managers and executives in a company see the world in the same way Ð that they have the same basis of understanding and the same basic tool kit to use in dealing with the challenges of their goals and the perturbations of the external world. KCG has extensive experience in designing and delivering tailored education courses to support business changes companies are making. Our work has had many facets to it. For several clients we have simply exposed their management teams to some of the latest thinking about a subject such as business reengineering or strategy implementation. For several other clients, we created extensive multi-media programs that all executives and managers went through to ensure a basic level of understanding and skills associated with a new line of company services. For another client we privately coached the CEO on the role information technology could play in his business. For another, we privately coached the CEO on various approaches to strategic planning and implementation that her company could take.
We have worked with adult learning
mechanisms and so our work is usually not only classroom lecture, but a combination
of cases, outside exercises and study group discussions. We also involve our
extensive network of contacts in business and education to augment our own
participation in such programs. These (and other) mechanisms help expand and
target the thinking in an optimum way at the desired goals for such programs.
(Several of our groups have been foreign management teams where translation
was required.) Further, KCG staff are exceptionally skilled as teachers with
a high experience level and excellent presence with the groups we work with.
