Change Management

Business change is the hardest thing that managers do. With it comes a strange mix of manager and employee reactions that need management if the goals of the change process are to be achieved. KCG has researched, taught, and consulted in the business change arena for over 20 years. Our work has been both prescriptive - what should you do to achieve your goals, as well as diagnostic - what's going wrong with your business change efforts. Our approach is unique in that we don't treat employees as one homogeneous group that become subject to a single monolithic change program. Rather, we believe a portfolio of business change efforts has to be used for the stakeholder groups involved in or impacted by a change. Our work also stresses having a well-prepared case for change, vision and blueprint, and process for change that is widely communicated and discussed within a company (or even its suppliers, distributors, and customers).
